Honest Guard of SM returned recovered iPhone

Honest guard of SM City Cauayan was recently given due commendation for exemplifying honesty and good deeds.

SIC Allan Mangolabnan of Belgian Security Agency recovered one unit iPhone 5 while conducting clearing inspection at Cinema 3 of the said mall on May 13, 2015. Immediately, he turned over the recovered item to the CRS Office of SM City Cauayan for proper safe keeping.

Later in the afternoon, rightful owner, Ms. Diosa Joyce Pedro from Cauayan City arrived and claimed the recovered iPhone after thorough verification conducted by the CRS Team. 

 

Over the previous months, other security guards of SM City Cauayan also showed good deeds and trustworthiness for returning recovered items. The mall administration office of SM City Cauayan commends and continuously encourage everyone from the security team and to other agency personnel to be an exemplary of honesty.

SM Cauayan host Cagayan Valley Expo

Cauayan City, Isabela (May 18, 2015) – SM City Cauayan, the first SM Supermall in the region spearhead the first Cagayan Valley Franchise Expo on May 15-16, 2015. This is to trail the upward growth and the flourishing economy of Isabela and the whole Region 2 as SM endeavors to support and contribute to this success.

This event aims provide an opportunity for business seekers and those looking to grow an existing business, to gain valuable knowledge, insight and guidance. Over 30 franchisors got the chance to meet prospective franchisees during the two-day event. 

With the theme, “Creating Business Opportunities, within SM Supermalls and Beyond!”, the first Cagayan Valley Franchise Expo aims to provide a platform for building synergies through targeted business to business opportunities. This also served as a venue for successful franchisors to present their offers to many potential franchisees.

Sir Artemio Bartolome, Chairman of the Board of Association of Filipino Franchisors Inc., discussed Franchising 101 on the first day of the expo. Meanwhile, franchisors of Peanut World, Fiorgelato, Lots A Pizza and Acquasuisse also addressed the questions raised during the Q & A forum.

As the first Franchise Expo, it is set to become one of the major exhibiting events in the Northern Philippines. Banking on the extensive network of SM’s Business Partners and the support of the local business organizations, DTI and LGU, SM is confidents that the expo will attract major brands and potential investors to come in the province and its nearby provinces.
