– SM Foundation announces its new batch of scholars for the school year
2015-2016 on April 8, 2015 on the orientation and contract signing done
simultaneously across the SM malls in the Philippines.
A new batch of scholars from Isabela has been screened and
selected on the previous months for the school year 2015-2016. Five new
scholars has been selected among the 150 aspirants to be scholars of the
foundation, they are; Isabel Diaz, Zoe
Yana Saquing, Jose Primo Rivera, Marie Andjelie Kaye Gambito and Kretchman
Ercilla.
The first batch with 21
scholars who were selected for the previous school year were also able to
retain their slot in the scholarship program for the upcoming school year.
Names of the scholars are the following; Mercedes
Acosta, Myrna del Rosario, Joseph Eco Jr, Kristine Faye Nicolas, Cathrina
Carissa Sotelo, Atilano Warren Taguba, Cyrel Aguinaldo, Nica Bautista, Aljon
Geronimo, Ma. Kristela Obenar, Clark Justin Serrano, Filam Tapaoan, Marzelle
Kaelin Villegas, Jennifer Arcadio, Jermagne Ceria, Jejoy Fernandez, Charlene
Quintos, Arnie Antonio, Nicko Concepcion, Joezer Valdez and Elaine Villapando.
A total now of 26
scholars from Isabela will be supported by SM Foundation’s Scholarship
Program for school year 2015-2016. They will be enrolled to any of the 82
partner colleges and universities nationwide.
The scholars are entitled to full matriculation fees and
monthly stipend. They are also given a chance to experience summer or Christmas
break jobs at SM Malls and, after graduation, will be offered exclusive job
opportunities by the SM Group but they are not required to work for SM Group of
Companies after their graduation.
