WOW Cauayan as in
Wealth on Waste Cauayan recently had a week-long eco-fair at SM City
Cauayan this April in line with the celebration of Earth Week.
Initiated by CENRO Cauayan City headed by Engr. Alejo Lamsen
and SM City Cauayan, recyclables and so-called renewed and re-imagined products
were showcased to the public.
Among which that were displayed are the; C-charcoal made out of paper, A- asim or suka flavor making out of
different fruits/vegetables, U- unsellable
biodegradable wastes turned into useful things, A- agricultural soil conditioner making or organic fertilizer, Y- yaman sa basura or basket making, A- accessories and decorations made out
of paper, and, N- natural material created
into simple and useful items, completing the acronym CAUAYAN for WOW (Wealth on Waste) CAUAYAN.
CENRO Cauayan were also able to answer the questions of each
mall-goers about the showcased products. With this event, they want to
encourage everyone to do their share in recycling and protecting the Mother
Earth.
The eco-fair of WOW CAUAYAN is one of the highlights of the
